We’ve teamed up with The Camden Watch Company to offer a money-can’t-(currently)-buy prize: the No.29 Horse Hospital Special Edition wristwatch.
Anneke Short, co-founder of The Camden Watch Company says, “our Horse Hospital watch is one of our most coveted. It is not available to buy online, only in-store. We have requests from around the world to make it available for general purchase, but we want to make it special for customers who visit us.”
With the latest governmental stay-at-home order having been in place since before Christmas, these striking watches have been unavailable to anyone – until now.
“Since we’re in lockdown, we wanted to team up with the Camdenist to offer this chance to win one of this unique timepiece,” says Anneke, of our exclusive prize.
All you have to do is follow the simple steps below, and we will draw a winner at random next week.
The design of the Horse Hospital special edition is inspired by the colours and features of British WWI trench watches, including a thick leather strap, and a dark dial with bright, legible numerals and luminous detailing.
It takes its name from the Grade II listed building in which The Camden Watch Company store is based, which was originally built to accommodate tired and injured horses that carried carry road freight from the nearby canal and railways in Victorian times.
Good luck on the prize draw, and fingers crossed The Camden Watch Company and all the other local retailers will be open and thriving again for safe in-person visits very soon.
