EXCLUSIVE: Kentish Town Cinema Saga – lease just signed
The former North London Polytechnic assembly hall is finally going to reopen this April…
We’re excited to announce further information about the Italian wine tasting to be held at the return of Secret Feasts, Camdenist’s flagship food and drink event series.
These one night only events support different independent neighbourhood restaurants, while offering you great value for money and a perfect opportunity to head out and socialise locally. On Thursday November 3rd, we’ll be showcasing a three-course menu at Jamestown Road’s new Mediterranean all-day diner, Peron No.4. The dishes will be expertly paired with wines from Cantine Ilauri, an Italian producer with as much focus on sustainability as terroir and flavour (tasting notes below).
Husband and wife owners Rodrigo and Antonella and their team operate water and energy efficiency practices, soil health, waste management and community building initiatives, proudly being the first winery in the world awarded the Gender Equality European and International Standard Certification (GEISS).
Their wines will be presented to you by experts from Milton Sandford Wines, often referred to as Berkshire’s best kept secret on account of their cellars – which supply many of London’s top restaurants – being deep down an old chalk mine. This secret bunker was used as an aircraft and ammunitions factory during the Cold War and now stores wines at a perfect 12-13 °C all year round.
You can find out more about Peron No.4 in the recent video story we made with owner Naz, and grab your tickets for the event via the box below now, before they’re gone.
