perform on a narrowboat stage this xmas

Want to perform on a narrowboat at Granary Square this Christmas?

Camdenist seeks musicians, singers, poets, standups and others for festive busking gigs
Celebrate the holidays with music and good cheer this Christmas
Camdenist is excited to be taking to the water this festive season, with support from our neighbours Google and King’s Cross with performances on a narrowboat stage this Xmas.

We’ll be mooring up our very own pop-up performance space at Granary Square’s famous steps in December, bringing a large busking stage offering open mic sessions aboard the Molly Anna.

Calling all musicians and performers
Are you – or do you know – a local musician, band or perhaps poet, comedian, actor or other performers who’d like the chance to get up and do their thing on stage in this brilliant Christmas setting? We’d love to hear from you!

All the performers invited to join us will have the chance to earn unlimited tips digitally via a QR code or tip jar at the boat, and will feature in the live show video recordings that we’ll be editing and posting as part of the event coverage online over the coming weeks.

You may remember the Molly Anna featured on Camdenist.com last year when Libertines man Peter Doherty was taking a walk along the towpath, spotted the boat and came back to play the open mic the next day, making BBC News in the process.
Meanwhile, we’ll reveal more info on the gigs exclusively in the Weekly C-Mail next week (so make sure you are signed up to receive it) so everyone will know when to come to King’s Cross, grab a mulled wine from Canopy Market, and join us under twinkling festoon lights on the canalside steps for what promise to be some very special performances on the Molly Anna’s narrowboat stage this Xmas!

Keep your eye out on our website and social media channels for more info.
