The Little One

THE VIBE: The hole-in-the-wall stylings of this popular pit-stop belie its impressive output, which goes way beyond the (very good) coffee. Inside may be tiny, but they manage to fit in a small-batch roastery and bake all their muffins and breads on the premises too. While you’ll need to look further up the road for starched tablecloths, simply pulling up a stool on the forecourt of the former Chalk Farm Garage & Car Wash of a lazy morning is a modern day Primrose Hill must do.

DON’T MISS: Filled crepes are the big brunchy thing here, with plenty of vegan and gluten-free options too.

TOP TIP: Make sure you leave with a few of their fresh Brazilian Pao De Queijo cheesy bread balls, which go down surprisingly well alongside a latte or cappuccino.

BRUNCH INDEX: £3.50 for the real deal coffee, £8.90 for a Big Breakfast crepe with ham, cheese, tomato, spinach and mushroom.
